Joint Visit to Washington, D.C. with the Florida Bankers Association

The California Bankers Association (CBA) Federal Government Relations Committee invites you to join your peers at the 16th annual Joint Visit to Washington, D.C. with the Florida Bankers Association. We will be staying at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. This annual trip to our nation’s capital provides us with an excellent opportunity to discuss critical issues impacting our industry with our elected officials and representatives from key regulatory agencies.
The visit begins on Tuesday, September 17, at 4 p.m. with registration, the welcome reception at 5 p.m., immediately followed by dinner at 6 p.m. On Wednesday, September 18, all attendees and their guests are invited to attend a group dinner at the Blue Duck Tavern, which is located at the Park Hyatt Hotel and within walking distance from the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The visit concludes on Thursday, September 19, at noon, immediately following our regulatory agency briefings.
A block of rooms has been reserved for us at the Omni Shoreham Hotel at a rate of $259/single and $279/double occupancy. You may contact the hotel directly at (202) 234-0700 to reserve your room or use the hotel link provided on the registration form. Be sure to ask for the CBA room rate. Please note that reservations under the CBA room rate are available on a first come, first served basis — the cut-off date for rooms at this rate is Friday, August 16.
There is no registration fee for this event. Spouses and guests are welcome to attend all events held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel and the Wednesday night group dinner.
