  • Join this practical Consumer Lending Bootcamp session for a focused review of key requirements under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Regulation B. We will discuss how to handle loan applications under Regulation B, including the rules governing information requests made in connection with applications. We will also discuss what steps a lender must take to make an application complete, and how a lender must handle the adverse action requirements when they are declining a request for credit.

  • This practical Deposit Services Bootcamp session will provide a comprehensive overview of various forms of deposit promotions and regulatory compliance expectations impacting deposit advertisements (such as Regulation DD advertising disclosure requirements and IRS information reporting). The session will provide a closer look at relevant regulatory consent orders and the hard “lessons learned” of other institutions. There will also be a discussion of the FDIC’s recent modernization of its official sign requirements, with a focus on the impact to advertisements, websites and false advertising concerns.
